Shared Prioritization Criteria

60 minutes - individual brainstorming + group discussion


To uncover the implicit criteria we are each using when deciding what to do, making those explicit.
To develop alignment around a shared set of decision making criteria to apply.


Brainstorming - Each attendees comes up with 10 decision making criteria they would use to decide what to do (eg effort by engineers, value to user segment, saving company money)
Sharing & Grouping - Each person shares the decision making criteria they came up with out loud. We merge duplicates, and put related ideas into groups.
Prioritizing - As a group we prioritize the decision making criteria, from most important to least important
